Description

  • Unable to close Effectivity Range for Serial Effectivity on Recursive Sibling Propagation
  • Refer below Use-Case details:
    1) Set below value of "Serial Number Format" preference:
    User-added image
    2) Create a new WTPart Test_001, Rev A
    3) Insert three Child WTParts Test_002, Test_003, Test_004 corresponding to Released state to Test_001, Rev A structure
    4) Create new Change Notice on WTPart Test_001, apply the serial effectivity as "00001-"
    5) Upon Change Notice completion, Test_001, Rev A would be Released & the effectivity applied will be propagated down the structure
    6) Revise Test_001 from Revision A to B
    7) Replace Test_003 with Test_005 Child Part
    8) Create new Change Notice on Test_001, Rev B & apply Serial Effectivity as "00005-"
    9) Upon Change Notice Release, Test_001, Rev A Serial effectivity will appear as "00001-00004". This indicates that Sibling propagation is working
    10)Verify the Effectivity range for Test_003, its effectivity appears as "00001-00004". This indicates that Recursive Sibling propagation is working
