Remotely bound properties (tags) on specific Industrial Things in ThingWorx are not receiving updates from KEPServerEX / ThingWorx Kepware Server with the error "Unable to Invoke Service GetBoundItems on : null"

Description

  • Remote Things connected to Kepware do not update their Remotely Bound Properties despite being connected
  • Local Things binding to Remote Things properties not updating, but Remote Things on Kepware side show Good quality 
    • Error is reported as below 
      Unable to dispatch [url=/Things/[Thing_name]/Services/UpdateSubscribedPropertyValues/]: 
Unable to invoke service UpdateSubscribedPropertyValues on [Thing_name]: Invalid Property

  • GetBoundItems service on the IndustrialGateway thing is returning error 
    Unable to Invoke Service GetBoundItems on <IndustrialGateway> : null
  • Running service GetPropertySubscriptions on IndustrialThing returns error 
    Unable to Invoke Service GetPropertySubscriptions on <thing> : null
  • ThingWorx Composer shows tags with unknown quality, but KEPServer is showing good
