Axeda Platform: Your browsers Java Version is out of date, please update the version to at least 1.6

Description

  • Browser will display various messages regarding Java Version is out of date
  • Examples:
    • Create a new package deployment to download a file
      1. Select Content>Create a new software package
      2. Fill in Name, Model and version and Click Next
      3. Package dependencies, Click Next
      4. Select dropdown Download File from Platform and the following message will be displayed:
      • Your browsers Java Version is out of date, please update the version to at least 1.6. Your browser's Java plug-in was not found or is not compatible with this application
    • Run a remote session
  1. Select Asset on the Asset Dashboard
  2. In Remote Sessions click connection type (e.g. Desktop, RDP etc)
  3. In pop-up window click Start Session and the follow message will display:
  • Your browsers Java Version is out of date, please update the version to at least 1.6. Asset Name: ABC123 Remote Application Name: XXXXXXXX  
    Your browser's Java plug-in was not found or is not compatible with this application. Please install the latest version from the Sun Web site
