Windchill REST Services Reports Invalid Domain Request on Windows Platform
Modified: 23-Aug-2019
Applies To
- Windchill PDMLink 11.1 to 11.2
Description
When you access the metadata for any domain in Windchill REST Services, the metadata URL may return an invalid domain request message. This issue is caused because the wt.home property in the wt.properties file of Windchill is case sensitive.
For example, consider that Windchill is installed in C:\PTC\Windchill directory.
You specify the path in wt.home as c:\PTC\Windchill. This incorrect case in the path causes the mentioned issue while working with Windchill REST Services.
