  • Available modes of compilation on Intel Linux vary depending on the version of Apex in use
    • Apex 4.2.4 provides only for 32 bit compilation on Linux with support for 32 bit integers
    • Apex 4.4.4 provides for 32 bit compilation on Linux with support for 32 bit or 64 bit integers
    • Apex 5.0.2 provides for 32 bit compilation on Linux with support for 32 bit or 64 bit integers, and also provides for 64 bit compilation on Linux
    • Apex 5.2.2 provides only for 64 bit compilation on Linux
  • Available modes of compilation on Solaris vary depending on the version of Apex in use and the host processor
    • Apex 4.2.4 provides for 32 bit and 64 bit compilation on Sparc Solaris hosts
    • Apex 4.4.4 provides for 32 bit and 64 bit compilation on Sparc Solaris hosts and 32 bit compilation on Intel Solaris hosts
    • Apex 5.0.2 provides for 32 bit and 64 bit compilation on Sparc Solaris hosts and 32 bit compilation on Intel Solaris hosts
    • Apex 5.2.2 does not support Solaris hosts
