Description

  • Unable to remove selected multiple objects from Affected Object Table with popup error Nothing selected.
  • Steps to reproduce the issue:
  1. Create a Change Notice.

  1. Click on Next button and go to Define Implementation Plan.
  2. Click on Edit change task option.

  1. Click on + icon for adding affected objects. Add four parts under Affected Objects table in New Change Task Window and select all the parts by using Select all rows checkbox.

  1. Type any one part number in the affected object table search.

  1. Unselect that particular part by using Select all rows checkbox option.

  1. Remove the keyword in the search so that it displays all the parts which is attached to affected object table.

  1. Affected Objects table will show three parts are selected and one part is in unselected.

  1. Click remove button it will throw pop-up with Nothing selected, even though two parts are selected.

  • Unable to remove selected multiple objects from Describes Parts Table under Related Objects tab of document info page by using the same steps to reproduce as mentioned above and it throws below error java.lang.NullPointerException on Windchill 11.1 F000

  • This issue seems to generic one with tables and error message is not user friendly.
