Insert a custom timestamp into a MySQL Database using the KEPServerEX / ThingWorx Industrial Connectivity DataLogger Plug-in
Modified: 03-May-2018
Applies To
- Kepware Server (formerly KEPServerEX) 5.20.396.0 to 6.4.321.0
- MySQL Connector/ODBC
Description
- The KEPServerEX DataLogger Plug-in will insert Value, Quality, and Timestamp parameters for a tag into an ODBC-compliant database
- Is it possible to concatenate three KEPServerEX String Values to create a custom Timestamp for a database insert?
- Example
- Tag "Channel1.Device1.Tag1" Value changes from 0 to 1
- This triggers the log group to start logging
- At that moment, these Values are present for these tags:
- "Channel1.Device1.Tag2" Value = 12
- "Channel1.Device1.Tag3" Value = 20
- "Channel1.Device1.Tag4" Value = 50
- "12:20:50" is logged in mySQL
- Tag "Channel1.Device1.Tag1" Value changes from 0 to 1
- Example
- Is it possible to concatenate three KEPServerEX String Values to create a custom Timestamp for a database insert?
