Unable to activate the Workspace within the embedded browser of Creo Parametric or Windchill Workgroup Manager

Description

  • Attempting to activate the Workspace fails with the message:
This page cannot be displayed
​Make sure the web address http://<web_address> is correct.
Look for the page with your search engine.
Refresh the page in a few minutes.
  • Workspace is inactive at first sign in and the only way to reactivate seems to be to change the workspace then switch back to the desired workspace
  • Selecting activate workspace from the action drop-down refreshes the browser but workspace is still inactive
  • No workspace appears active in creo embedded browser after user logs into Windchill
  • When Creo is started, user has to reconnect to the Windchill server as it appears offline, and attempting to activate any workspaces does not work and results in "Inactive Workspace" displayed
  • User is unable to register Windchill with creo, with Creo offline state
  • Workspace shown as inactive and missing Open in Creo function when user goes to Workspace in a connected session
  • Blank page appears with no response when clicking workspace or common space in Creo embedded browser  
  • User cannot switch workspace as user is unable to change workspace in different folder in and doesn't show any error messages or warnings
  • The model opened from the workspace cannot be saved to the workspace after updating, nor can it be checked in to Windchill, since the workspace is inactive
  • Unable to enter workspace from embedded browser
  • Workspace remains inactive after stopping and restarting WGM unless a new workspace is created
