Description

  • Cannot retrieve any other CAD models from a Windchill PDMLink workspace in Creo Parametric when user runs ModelCHECK Regenerate and updates a current drawing
  • Unable to retrieve any other other CAD models from a Windchill PDMLink workspace in Creo Parametric following next steps
    1. Register Creo Parametric to a Windchill PDMLink workspace
    2. Add or create a new CAD model (asm/prt/drw) to the Workspace from Windchill PDMLink Product
    3. Import the custom drawing and related models in workspace
    4. Check in the custom drawing and related models in Windchill PDMLink Product
    5. Open the drawing and run #FIle #Prepare #ModelCHECK Regenerate
    6. Next, while drawing is still opened in the same Creo Parametric session execute this Creo Parametric operation #File #Open #Update Current
    7. Next, open the CAD model from Step #2 in Creo Parametric
    • Expectation: The CAD model should open without errors
    • Error: ######.prt cannot be retrieved
