Unable to flip the depth direction of an extrusion by using relations in Creo Parametric 4.0 M040

Description
For a extrusion, I can flip the depth direction by entering a negative value.
The value shows positive (on the screen) and if entering a new positive value (on the screen) the extrusion will remain in the same depth direction, if entering a negative value the depth direction will flip, but still show a positive value.
How can I achieve the same behaviour by using relations, or how can I flip the depth direction by using relations????
