Windchill PDMLink: It is not possible to stop WVS Publisher Queues or delete Executing Windchill Queue Entries

Description

  • Unable to stop the WVS PublisherQueue, e.g.:
    • PublisherQueueH
    • PublisherQueueM
    • PublisherQueueL
    • PublisherQueue1 - n
  • Unable to delete or change the state of a Queue Entry in the Queue Manager related to an EXECUTING WVS Publish Job
  • This can occur for many other Windchill Queues too
  • It also happens if no queue entry is processed
  • It happens if the Queue contains only entries in state "Completed".
  • Error An exception occurred while attempting to stop the queue appears when attempting to delete a long running queue entry in Visualization queues .
  • State of the Queue appears then as unknown in the Queue manager.
