Description

  • Publishing certain large CAD Drawings or Models is failing repeatedly with the error:
Timeout exceeded waiting for a reply from the CadAgent - Time out XXXX seconds
  • Windchill (WVS) Publish Jobs time-out when publishing certain large Parts, Assemblies or Drawings with the message in the WVS Job Monitor (formerly Publish Monitor) - Job Detail:
Timeout exceeded waiting for a reply from the CadAgent - Time out 600 seconds  (Part or Drawing)
Timeout exceeded waiting for a reply from the CadAgent - Time out 3,600 seconds  (Assembly)
  • Every time a particular drawing or model is published, the worker stops and becomes unresponsive (hangs)
  • ProE worker hangs during the Regenerating Drawing phase for a particular drawing, resulting in a timeout error
  • Although customer have set publish.cadtimeout.component and publish.cadtimeout.assembly to be 3600s in wvs.properties, drawing publish still fail with timeout error of 600s.
  • Engineering drawing publishing fails due to timeout
