Description

  • The Adobe PDFGen user accounts will fail to validate if "Interactive logon: Require smart card" is enabled on the Windows server
  • Is Use of Smart Cards for the Windows user accounts required for the PDF Generation Service configuration supported?
  • Installing AEM and during the add of admin for native PDF conversions, get error
  • PIV Smart Card is in use
  • Use of Smart Cards makes Windows user accounts required for the PDF Generation Service configuration Invalid
  • PDF Generator > User Accounts UI shows error and status as :

  • The lcm.#.log in <AEM_Load_Point>\configurationManager\log  shows exceptions as :
    •  WARNING, Thread-29, com.adobe.pdfg.lcm.configure.users.AddPDFGAdminUserTask, Error while adding user to PDFG :ALC-DSC-005-000: com.adobe.idp.dsc.DSCNotSerializableException: Not Serializable
      Caused by: ALC-DSC-003-000: com.adobe.idp.dsc.DSCInvocationException: Invocation error.
