    Description

    • Any future version SolidWorks components saved in earlier SolidWorks releases fail to import in PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager 11.0 due to "Internal Error" error
    • Unable to check in PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager SolidWorks 2016 CAD data opened in SolidWorks 2015 SP5 due to Internal Error error
      • SolidWorks 2016 CAD data opened in SolidWorks 2015 SP5 (Future version models opened current SolidWorks 2015 SP5) can be imported to PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager workspace
      • SolidWorks 2016 CAD data opened in SolidWorks 2015 SP5 and saved to a PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager workspace causes SolidWorks to prematurely exit

    • Unable to check in sldprt and sldasm SolidWorks 2016 data that was successfully saved to or imported to a WWGM 11.0 M010 client via Solidworks 2015 with SP5
    • SolidWorks 2015 with SP5 crashes when opening sldprt and sldasm Solidworks 2016 data that was successfully saved to or imported to a WWGM 11.0 M010 client via SolidWorks 2015 SP5
    • SolidWorks 2015 with SP5 prematurely exits opening *.sldprt or *.sldasm Solidworks 2016 data successfully saved and imported to a PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager 11.0 M010 client via SolidWorks 2015 SP5
    • Symptoms
      • Future version SolidWorks data can be imported in PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager
      • SolidWorks exits while opening data from PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager
      • Opening files works OK for standalone SolidWorks session
      • Even if file is opened in SolidWorks 2016 and saved in PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager, opening it again causes SolidWorks exits
