Replication fails with error "java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server" in Windchill PDMLink

  • Windchill PDMLink 9.1 to 11.0

Description

  • Some or all objects fail to replicate with a replica server.
  • Cannot CheckIn files in several locations
  • In the Master server logs the following error is observed :
wt.router.7.3.PollingThread: ERROR : wt.fv.master - replication failed for object wt.fv.FvItem:<itemnumber>
wt.router.7.3.PollingThread: wt.fv.FvFileCanNotBeStored
 wt.router.7.3.PollingThread:               at wt.fv.contentmover.RemoteVaultItem.moveComplete(RemoteVaultItem.java:461)
  • In the Replica Server, the following error is observed :
