Description

  • Dependencies between assembly and replaced component still exists even if cancel replace data.
  • Open assembly, from model tree select one component, RMB > Replace > Unrelated Component > select replace data > OK > change nothing close feature tool(red cancel mark).
    • From model tree select assembly, RMB > Info > Reference Viewer > Dependencies, you can see canceled component is displayed in parents row.
  • We can delete this dependencies manually, but is very take time, and can't use Toolkit to delete.
  • Customer just made mistake to select replace data, also canceled, why dependencies still exists? this is unnecessary dependencies. if necessary, customer want to know reason.
  • Because of this dependencies exists, Windchill recognized this as ghost, decline the performance.
  • Canceled replace component have Component id, but can't search from search tool, is this Component ​feature?
