How to propagate other Model attributes as a parameter in Pro/ENGINEER files
Modified: 14-Dec-2016
Applies To
- Windchill PDMLink 6.2 to 11.0
- Pro/ENGINEER and Creo Elements/Pro Wildfire to Wildfire 5.0
- Creo Parametric 1.0 to 3.0
Description
- How to map Windchill modeled attribute to the Creo Elements parameter
- Customization Of A Windchill Class To Specify Additional Attributes That Will Be Propagated From The CAD Document To Pro/ENGINEER, Creo Elements/Pro and Creo Parametric files
- By default, downloading a Pro/ENGINEER object creates the following parameters that are populated with Windchill attribute data:
- PTC_WM_MODIFIED_BY
- PTC_WM_CREATED_ON
- PTC_WM_VERSION
- PTC_WM_REVISION
- PTC_WM_LIFECYCLE_STATE
- PTC_WM_LIFECYCLE
- PTC_WM_CREATED_BY
- PTC_WM_MODIFIED_ON
- PTC_WM_LOCATION
The inclusion of the Windchill object name and number as well as other Windchill attribues can be made by customizing the DefaultModeledAttributesDelegate class therefore providing a custom implementation
