Description
- Unable to register any applications in Windchill Workgroup Manager client due to error message
- Despite new installation of Windchill Workgroup Manager, the user is unable to register any application and gets the following error message
- Generic message
The Windchill Workgroup Manager has become unstable and may cause data corruption.
Close Windchill Workgroup Manager and your authoring application, and then contact your system administrator.
This problem occurred because the following DLL was changed after the authoring application was registered C:\Program Files (x86)\PTC\wgm\i486_nt\obj\<application to be registered>dll
To resolve the problem a system administrator must unregister all authoring applications, uninstall Windchill Workgroup Manager, clear the Java plug-in cache and reinstall Windchill Workgroup Manager from the Windchill Server.
The Windchill Workgroup Manager has become unstable and may cause data corruption.
