Description
- Token is a mechanism Axeda Platform uses to prevent 2 separate physical devices from getting configured with the same Model Number and Serial Number combination
- The possibility exists that two separate physical devices could inadvertently (or deliberately) be configured with the same Model Number and Serial Number combination
- This could conceivably allow a rogue user or device to impersonate a device and potentially hijack communications between the real device and the Axeda Platform
- The Axeda Platform makes it exceptionally easy to configure Model and Serial Number for assets, either through the Axeda Builder, the Axeda Discovery Tool, or the Axeda Deployment Utility
- Axeda agent token
- Invalid token
- Reset token
- Network Interface, Hardware or Operating System reinstall
