Description

  • Installing Microsoft Security update KB2962872 causes premature exit of Internet Explorer, Creo Elements/Pro, Creo Parametric and Windchill Workgroup Manager with Windchill PDMLink
  • This Security update is associated to Microsoft Security Bulletin MS14-037.
  • Performing various actions, including but not limited to, navigating to the Folders page, clicking on icons, information icons, or hyperlinks for any object (Part, CAD Document, Document, Promotion Request, Change Notice, Change Request, Embedded Browser search, etc.) results in exit, browser restart/reload and messages like the following:
Windows Internet Explorer has stopped working and needs to restart
