Windchill PDMLink: Publish Job delays occur when multiple Publisher Queue sets are configured with more numbered WVS Publisher Queues than workers in the mapped Worker Agent QUEUESETS

Description

  • Publish Jobs in one Worker Agent QUEUESET pause whilst a Publish Job of the same worker type (cad type) in another QUEUESET is waiting for an available worker
  • This condition is much more likely to occur when there are more numbered WVS PublisherQueues than workers
  • When all workers in one queueset are busy and a job is waiting for an available worker, the following messages occur in the WVS Job Monitor with the messages:

  • However, no jobs will process in any other queuesets for the same worker type, with the following messages:
