Embedded Workspace or Commonspace in Creo Parametric or Windchill Workgroup Manager does not load when using Internet Explorer 11 with Windchill PDMLink

Description

  • Attempting to display or refresh any Windchill PDMLink page, the Workspace or Commonspace hangs, becomes unresponsive, fails or does not load.
  • Occurs when Internet Explorer is updated to a release (Internet Explorer 11) that is not supported with Creo Parametric or the Windchill Workgroup Manager.
  • Embedded IE browsers Workspace or Commonspace freezes in Creo Parametric or Windchill Workgroup Manager
  • Bad performance is observed (hang, several clics might be needed ..) while setting attributes in the workspace
  • Script errors are observed attempting to display or refresh the Workspace or Commonspace

  • Unable to perform several actions like (Create representation, Add to workspace, etc) from the embedded browser
  • Errors are received when performing various actions, such as clicking on drop-down menu (File, Edit or Tools), in the active workspace in the embedded browser:

Error: Object doesn't support property or method 'stopPropagation'
Error: Object doesn't support property or method 'indexOf'
