Description
- Bookmark or Shared Windchill Links do not open correctly with Internet Explorer under the following conditions:
- The Windchill URLs are being shared / accessed outside of Windchill
- For example, link in workflow task notification mail, in an external web page, inside a document
- Will go to home page
- Clicking on the link launches Internet Explorer, but the user is at the home page and not the location expected for the URL in the link.
- The system is using a 3rd Party Authentication / Single Sign on Solution
- A proxy server between the user and the server that perform URL rewriting
- Unable to access Windchill even the Methodserver log shows Methodserver ready.
- URLs with # (hash, pound, number sign) character are truncated
