Description
Scenario:
- External users are members of Windchill context teams
- For all routed process from external users with external e-mail addressed, e-mails from Windchill are considered 'spoofed' and get rejected by their exchange servers and never receive the notification
- How to know that from which user the system generated mail has come?
- Customize the e-mail notifications as follows
- A routed process or a 'Email this Page' is sent from Windchill by 'userA':
- The notification is sent out with a 'From' field value of a Windchill Admin account called '[email protected]'
- The notification includes the originator ([email protected]) in the carbon copy (CC) field and in the 'ReplyTo' field
- When a recipient of the notification does a 'Reply' back, the e-mail will then reply correctly to the originator ([email protected]) instead of the Admin Account ([email protected])
