Description
- ServerManager hangs on startup
- Last SM output is
INFO : wt.system.err - INFO: Creating serialization filter from- MethodServer fails to start and Server Manager stuck at Exception:
"wt.manager.ServerLauncher - Starting wt.cache.MasterCacheMonitor" - Method Server does not start and Server Manager hangs at
'wt.manager.CacheMasterNegotiator - Using low-locking algorithm' - MethodServer (MS) fails to start with error
ERROR [MethodServerMonitor] wt.manager.ServerManagerImpl - Start of MethodServer timed out - Windchill is not starting in the Update container template step while Upgrade
- ServerManager (SM) is trying to start the MS and Background Method Server (BGMS), after few mins MS is dropping
- After the relocation of the Oracle DB to a different Host, the ServerManager can't start any MethodServer
- Server Manager aborted with the following error
FATAL [main] wt.server.manager - ServerManagerMain abort com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The TCP/IP connection to the host <hostname>, port 1433 has failed. Error: "connect timed out. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall."
