Description
- Users fail to login to Windchill UI with error following error in browser :
HTTP Status 404 - not found The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists
- Method Server reports SERVLET ENGINE NOT RESPONDING upon starting
- Method Server reports following error just before MethodServer is ready message in the logs:
INFO [Servlet engine main] wt.system.err - SEVERE: Parse error in application web.xml file at [file:<WindchillHome>/Windchill/codebase/WEB-INF/web.xml] [Servlet engine main] wt.system.err - org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; systemId: file:<WindchillHome>/Windchill/codebase/WEB-INF/web.xml; lineNumber: 121; columnNumber: 7; The element type "filter" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</filter>".
- Error message in MethodServer log

- Windchill page has been inf loading state after input user name and password
- Apache request have HTTP Status 404 :

- Unable to login to FlexPLM system after rehost by using url https://<Windchill_URL>/Windchill/rfa/jsp/login/loginRedirect.jsp and browser reports JSP code instead of JSP webpage as shown:
