Creo View doesn't display GDT symbols correctly when viewing native Creo Parametric drawing created with 'symbol_font' set to 'stroked_iso' or 'stroked_asme'
Modified: 02-Mar-2023
Applies To
- Creo Parametric 9.0 to 9.0.3.0
- Creo Parametric 7.0 to 7.0.10.0
- Creo Parametric 8.0 to 8.0.7.0
- Creo+
- Creo View 8.0 to 9.0
Description
- Creo View doesn't show GDT symbols correctly for native drawing (.drw) created with the DTL option symbol_font set to stroked_iso or stroked_asme in Creo Parametric
- The symbols for example in GDTs are only shown as Rectangles (placeholder)
- The display is correct for published files (PVZ)
- Incorrect display impacts only native files (.drw) since a drawing exported as PVZ from Creo Parametric looks correct
