Introducing the Creo Large Assembly Suite
The Creo Large Assembly Suite is essential for teams designing and manufacturing complex products who are looking for robust control over data sharing and distribution, CAD/CAM capabilities supporting concurrent design & manufacturing, automated change propagation, and easy creation of manufacturing documentation. The Creo Large Assembly Suite enables:
- Concurrent design using top-down design principles
- Definition, management, and secure communication of design intent & criteria
- Multi-surface 3-axis milling with 4- and 5-axis positioning
- 3-axis trajectory and basic holemaking sequences
The Creo Large Assembly Suite is ideal for teams looking to reduce time-to-market and product development costs while improving product quality. Establish and enforce design best practices while creating intricate products and rely on Creo to help you deliver your best designs in less time.
All licenses must be operated within the same country they were purchased. If you need to procure a global license for your organization, please contact us to purchase.
The Creo Large Assembly Suite is offered in two license types
Please refer to the Creo Licensing Basis table for a complete description of the license types.
- Floating license: A license that can be used by one user at a time. Referred to as a “Concurrent User” in the licensing basis table. Floating licenses enable multiple users to “share” licenses on the same server, but only one user may use each available license at a time. Ideal for teams that need flexibility across multiple users or machines.
- Locked license: A license that is limited to being used on the computer on which it is installed. Referred to as a “Designated Computer” in the licensing basis table.
Please note, when purchasing a Creo Large Assembly Suite - Floating License, the entire suite follows the license type of the Creo Design Essentials base seat. This means even if your order shows the Creo Advanced Assembly and Creo Prismatic & Multi-Surface Milling extensions only as “Locked,” they are part of the suite and will function according to the license type of the Creo Design Essentials seat (Floating or Locked).
Manage top-down design and achieve precision manufacturing:
Top-Down Design:
- Capture design intent with skeleton models
- Visualize dependencies & relations to understand change propagation
- Define best practices to manage assembly component references
Concurrent Design:
- Define and distribute contact interfaces and design references
- Create associative models to manage creation & update of parts
- Enable design- and built-to-order components
Machining:
- 2.5 axis feature-based machining & 3-axis milling
- Basic Holemaking
- 3-axis trajectory
- Material removal simulation
