5 More Companies Rocking Product Design with Creo

We’d like to take a moment and welcome five companies—representing a wide range of industries, —who chose PTC’s CAD software to improve their product design and development processes, as well as position themselves for the requirements of a new generation of products.

From a national leader in industrial transportation to a global rail technology company, they each bring innovation and passion to the products they design and engineer. Here’s a quick round-up of each company and what makes them stand out.

Cobham: From space to the sea

A leading global technology and services innovator that solves challenging problems in commercial, defense and security markets, Cobham designs and engineers products for space stations, aircraft, and cruise ships. From the design of the first breathing regulator for Project Mercury, to a full suite of hardware and cutting-edge pneumatic subsystems for the ISS, they’ve engineered some of the most complex, challenging space components. Stuff space dreams are made of.

CAL International: From concept to product

CAL International calls itself a “concept to production engineering company” that supports life safety, oil and gas, automotive and commercial vehicle, civil engineering and construction industries. They walk the walk. The company prides itself on delivering high-quality CAD data to clients. “Our processes mean that no CAD data will be released to our clients containing external geometries or missing references,” reads the CAL website. “All our CAD is created from first features and is fully modifiable by our clients.” We love that.

LR Pure Systems GmbH: Behind the scenes

LR Pure Systems GmbH manufactures and installs components, assemblies, and complete systems ranging from semiconductors to pharmaceuticals to optics. Some of the services they perform include bending, turning/milling, sanding, welding, assembling, and installation from developing, designing, manufacturing and managing OEM assemblies and parts.

Menci Group: From blacksmiths to light aluminum alloy

Menci Groupwas established in 1927 by Geremia Menci, a skilled artisan blacksmith who produced machines and equipment for agriculture, mainly plows. Skip to 2018 and things have, well, changed. They’re now national leaders in industrial transportation that develops both steel and light aluminum alloy for semi-trailers and bulk feed tanks.
