Based on its assessment in innovation and implementations, ABI Research named PTC the Overall Leader in its Industrial Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Software report.
This latest ranking adds to the other leadership positions PTC has secured in recent years, including the Frost & Sullivan 2019 Product Leadership report, Quadrant Knowledge Solutions Worldwide PLM Market Outlook 2019-2024 report, and 2017 Forrester Wave.
ABI’s innovation criteria included data collection, accessibility, UX, and the enablement of compliance and traceability, while implementation criteria included industry expertise, geographic spread, scalability, and IT integration.
ABI zeroed in on how a vendor’s solution can contribute to a manufacturer’s efforts to create a digital thread and understand the impact that changes have on expenses, the supply chain, and/or the Bill of Materials (BOM).
