Our PTC for Good initiatives

Our social impact initiatives come to life in various ways:

A global volunteer policy that includes two paid days per year to give back to the community

An employee donation matching program that allows up to $250 match for eligible donations to nonprofits

Local grassroots efforts like Week of Caring and partnerships with community nonprofits

Week of Caring

null

Established in 2010, PTC’s annual Week of Caring encourages PTC’s global employees to make a difference in the lives of others through service, acts of kindness, and creating a sense of community within PTC. We believe that investing in the communities in which we work and live is an important social responsibility.

Case Study: Miyawaki forest project in India

PTC partnered with the Green Yatra Trust for a tree plantation drive in India to replant a forest with 6,000 trees using the Miyawaki Method, a Japanese method of plantation and 100% organic afforestation technique that uses native species to create dense, multilayered forests 10 times faster and 30 times denser, with 30 times faster absorption of carbon and increased biodiversity. Through this technique, a 100-year-old forest can be created in just 10 years.
