User unable to access ThingWorx, ThingWorx Navigate, or SCO (Smart Connected Operations) configured with Windchill Authentication due to invalid URL redirects

Description

  • After updating to Windchill 11.0 M030-CPS19, 11.1 M020 CPS14, 11.1 M020 CPS15, 11.1 M020 CPS16, 11.2.1.4, 11.2.1.5, 11.2.1.6, 12.0.0.1, 12.0.0.3, ThingWorx, ThingWorx Navigate, or SCO (Smart Connected Operations) Windchill authentication fails with below error :
    java.lang.RuntimeException: There is an issue with URL redirects. Please contact your administrator for assistance.

  • If ThingWorx, ThingWorx Navigate, or SCO is configured with Windchill authentication, a URL redirect is required during authentication. A whitelist property has been introduced in Windchill to validate the URL used for this connection. If the whitelist property has not been configured, the above error message will be displayed.
