Welcome to the FAQ on PTC Customer and Partner Identity Management.
Starting April 2025, users signing in to the eSupport portal will experience a streamlined sign-in process. These enhancements are designed to integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) for users already provisioned in PTC's SaaS (a.k.a "Atlas") environment, allowing seamless access between PTC's SaaS- and eSupport Applications.
Below you'll find answers to the most common questions on what is changing, why, and the differences our users will see when signing in to PTC.
• Starting April 2025, all users provisioned on PTC's SaaS (Atlas) platform will benefit from Single Sign On (SSO) with eSupport, the PTC Licensing apps, Search, and the PTC Community.
• PTC SaaS users are no longer required to maintain separate identities to access PTC.
• If your company has federated its identity provider with PTC, your corporate sign-in will also be valid across PTC's SaaS and eSupport applications.
• Our main goal in implementing SSO is to improve our customers' experience by eliminating the need for multiple sign-ins and enhancing interactions with PTC.
• This marks the initial step in a significant modernization of PTC's Identity Infrastructure, which will ultimately encompass all identities and applications utilized by our customers and partners.
• Simplified Sign-In: Users will only need to sign in once to enjoy seamless access between SaaS apps and eSupport.
• Enhanced Experience: No requirement to maintain separate identities.
• In-product experiences like guided support will be provided without requiring additional sign-in
• Platform updates integrate advanced features like identity federation, simplified user management, high performance, and the latest security.
