Windchill RV&S interacts with many operating systems and third-party products. PTC Quality Assurance tests and validates a given release of Windchill RV&S on many combinations of supported hardware and software platforms. A list of supported configurations is available in the PTC Release Advisor - Release Matrices and Upgrade Compatibility. To ensure satisfactory support of installation configurations, refer to the release advisor before implementing your Solution or upgrading any of its components. Please contact Technical Support with any questions about supported configurations. If you run Windchill RV&S on a supported configuration, you ensure that Technical Support will be able to offer support. Any errors found on such a configuration are reported to PTC Development for potential prioritization and scheduling in a maintenance release or major release.
Windchill RV&S configurations which have had any manipulation to the data or schema of the database used by the RV&S Server which were not done through documented product commands or were not provided or approved by PTC Technical Support, or PTC Development will not be supported.
Technical Support will provide development and resolutions for the most current version and release or the immediately preceding version and its latest release (including any service packs) only.
