Windchill PDMLink: Publishing a Creo Parametric CAD Assembly using a Lifecycle based EPM Config Spec includes unmatching dependencies
Modified: 23-Feb-2016
Applies To
- Windchill PDMLink 6.2 to 11.0
- Creo View Adapters 1.0 to 3.1
- ProductView Adapters and Creo Elements/View Adapters 10.0 to 13.0
- Creo View 1.0 to 3.1
- ProductView and Creo Elements/View 6.4 to 9.1
- Visualization Services (WVS)
Description
- Using the WVS New Representation wizard to publish a Creo Parametric CAD Assembly with a Lifecycle based EPMConfigSpec results in a Representation that includes dependencies not at the selected Lifecycle State
- File Sync enabled CREO worker is ignoring the chosen Lifecycle based EPM Configuration Specification (e.g. Released) for Structure Type: EPM Only
- Why does the Tree Structure displayed in Creo View contain upper-case names without the version information for components that are not of the Lifecycle state selected for publishing?
- Why do some assembly components in a LifeCycle based EPM Representation not have the Windchill CAD Document (epmdoc_*) and WTPart (part_*) attributes or links to the respective object Properties (Details) pages?
