Foundational Upgrade
PTC has updated Mathcad Prime’s back-end architecture from .NET Framework to .NET. This is a foundational upgrade to support future innovation in Mathcad, such as engine enhancements, usability updates, and UI/UX improvements. In addition, the migration to .NET removes long-term platform risk and makes future .NET transitions simpler.
Maintenance Releases
In addition to major feature releases, Mathcad Prime has maintenance releases to improve the software’s stability and reliability. Maintenance releases primarily address known bugs and bring security enhancements to ensure Mathcad Prime remains robust and secure.
