Bianca Porras is a Product Manager and biomedical engineer based in London, currently leading IntelliMax, Elekta’s IoT solution. She focuses on advancing Elekta’s connected service ecosystem, leveraging on real-time data, predictive analytics, and remote diagnostics to reduce downtime, simplify service delivery, and support better clinical outcomes for oncology patients around the world. Jesús Rueda Rodríguez is Director General Industrial Affairs & Strategies. He was previously the head of the International Affairs team. A Spanish national with a biochemistry background, he is also fluent in English and French.

Dr. Dominik Siegel is the Head of Development Operations in R&D at SCHÖLLY FIBEROPTIC GMBH. With a strong academic foundation in chemistry and a specialization in organic chemistry, he has built a career spanning both pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Dr. Siegel previously led a process optimization laboratory focused on API synthesis and later served as lab head and deputy head of Quality Control in the pharmaceutical sector. Today, he applies his deep scientific expertise and leadership experience to drive development operations in the medical device field.

Maik Sommer is a Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in design, product development, and engineering IT. After working with companies such as Siemens and Carl Zeiss, he joined Sartorius in 2016, where he moved from product development into IT in 2020. Maik supports global engineering teams by providing and optimizing digital tools, focusing on PTC solutions like Creo, Windchill, ThingWorx, and most recently Onshape, which he has been evaluating for over a year as part of Sartorius’ digital transformation strategy.

Akilah Daniels-Vincent is a global marketing leader at Microsoft, where she shapes the company’s strategy and narrative across the Pharma and MedTech industries. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager in Microsoft’s Health & Life Sciences organization, she helps define how the industry leverages data, AI, and cloud innovation to accelerate scientific breakthroughs, advance operational excellence, and improve patient outcomes.

With deep expertise spanning clinical R&D, regulated manufacturing, commercial transformation, and responsible AI, Akilah guides Microsoft’s engagement with some of the world’s largest and most innovative healthcare organizations. Akilah brings a strong crossindustry perspective shaped by previous leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, where she led digital product strategy and commercialization within the MedTech segment, and earlier product development engineering experience at Honda and Ford.

As Chief Product Officer, Digital Thread Group, Kevin is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Digital Thread product strategy, development, and operations. In his 25+ years at PTC, Kevin has held many leadership roles in Global Services, including five years as the Divisional General Manager of the PLM segment.

Rene has experience in the life science industry supporting companies to transform into an agile enterprise through Industrie 4.0 and digitalization. He has built up the life science practice at PTC in Germany. Based on his experience, he deeply understands how new technologies support digital transformation, how companies can benefit from digitalization in different process areas, and how regulations impact this journey. As chair of the PTC MedTech Customer Advisory Board, Rene organizes and runs joint workshops with PTC’s most strategic MedTech customers and PTC Executives on Industry topics and requirements.

Rene contributed as a co-author to the acatech Industrie 4.0 Maturity Index, published in March 2017, and contributes to the MDIC Center for Manufacturing Innovation & Quality.

Rene joined PTC in October 2010. Before PTC, he held several positions in consulting, portfolio management, and marketing at Siemens.
