Design Your ThingWorx Application Security

Receive documented design to properly implement your role-based security.

In this service, a PTC Expert will work with you and your validated use case to build a Component Design Document that enables ThingWorx Applications to be constructed around your business use case and its security needs.

How it Works

This is a 16 hour engagement and includes the following activities:

  1. A kick-off call to outline goals and understand your needs.
  2. A workshop session that goes through the design process and allows us to start creating a Component Design Document for a ThingWorx security model.
  3. PTC Expert will work offline to create the Component Design Document and give to you.

Prerequisites

The following criteria must be completed before this service can be consumed:

  • You must ensure your stakeholders and subject matter experts are available for the workshop
  • You must have a validated use case
  • You must have completed Introductory IoT and ThingWorx training
  • You must provide organizational/customer security scenarios
