Create Your First Manufacturing BOM

Document successful BOM transformation for a single EBOM with a list of rules and configurations.

In this service, a PTC Expert will help you with the BOM transformation process for a single, representative EBOM by mapping business process rules and configurations. After verifying that the transformation is complete, the identified process can be scaled to your business. This service is the second in a series that helps your organization realize a mature Manufacturing Engineering solution in Windchill by applying the concepts from the "Learn MBOM Associativity Best Practices" service.

How it works:

This is a 24-hour engagement and includes the following activities:

You will attend a kick-off meeting, hosted by PTC, to set expectations.
You will attend a BOM Transformation workshop hosted by a PTC expert.
PTC will provide guidance on Validation and Verification.
PTC will provide you with documentation of the transformation rules to use for future MBOMs.
PTC will conclude with Q&A and next steps.

Pre-requisites:

The following criteria must be met before this service can be consumed:

You must have EBOMs in Windchill environment.
You must have a license for MPMLink.
You must have an understanding of Associative MBOM Best Practices.
