Create Procedures with Vuforia Expert Capture

Receive end to end training on creating, editing, publishing, and testing Vuforia Work Instructions procedures and completing a short procedure for your use case.

In this service, PTC will train you on the use of Vuforia Work Instructions and provide an opportunity to practice creating production ready procedures with your own use case. The training includes functional, technical, and business considerations, as well as best practice tips and hands-on exercises spanning the components of Vuforia Work Instructions.

How It Works

This is a 16-hour engagement and includes the following activities:

  1. Overview of Vuforia Work Instructions (functionality, business value)
  2. Review implementation methodology, including planning of procedures
  3. Setup hardware and software
  4. Prepare assets for the procedures
  5. Edit procedures using Vuforia Editor
  6. Test procedures using Vuforia Vantage and Vuforia View
  7. Administer users for Vuforia Work Instructions
  8. Create a short procedure with the customer’s production use case

Prerequisites

The following criteria must be completed before this service can be consumed:

  • Purchase Vuforia Work Instructions licenses.
  • Access to Vuforia Admin Center by the Primary Administrator.
  • Access to Vuforia Editor on the internet confirmed for the onsite training location (i.e. not blocked by firewalls, etc.).
  • Identify production use case and description of the proposed value definition.
  • Identify at least one procedure (approximately 10 steps) that is related to the production use case to complete during the workshop.
  • Access to at least one of each type of necessary device for every 4 students (PTC instructor will only bring a device for themselves).
  • Confirm WIFI connectivity at the location for PTC and participants.
