As officially announced today, PTC has been named the winner of Microsoft’s 2021 Partner of the Year Award for Mixed Reality. PTC is also the winner of the 2021 Microsoft US (MSUS) Partner Award in Manufacturing, as well as a finalist for both the Automotive and Manufacturing Partner of the Year Awards.

After a year of growth for PTC, it’s an incredible honor to be celebrated among a global field of top Microsoft partners. Microsoft selected award honorees from a set of 4,400+ submitted nominations from more than 100 countries worldwide. The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize partners that have developed and delivered outstanding Microsoft-based solutions during the past year.

Winner: Partner of the Year Award for Mixed Reality

The Mixed Reality Partner of the Year Award recognizes a partner that has designed, developed, and deployed a solution that helps customers accelerate their digital transformation using mixed reality technology and Azure services. PTC’s mixed reality solutions provide an integrated portfolio for digital and workforce transformation, helping customers apply HoloLens2 devices and mixed reality solutions in ways that help businesses drive efficiencies.

PTC leverages services such as Azure Spatial Anchors and Azure Cosmos DB to provide greater scalability, performance, and value to end users for use cases ranging from guided tasks for job training and machine operations to sales and marketing demos. Using our mixed reality Vuforia Studio and Vuforia Expert Capture solutions, PTC worked with a large manufacturing company to address a use case around employee training; the transformation led to reduction in employee training time by 50% and millions in annual savings due to reduction of scrap and rework.

Winner: MSUS Partner Award in Manufacturing

The MSUS Partner Award in Manufacturing recognizes a partner that has shown leadership in customer impact, solution innovation, deployment and exceptional use of advanced features in Microsoft technologies over the past year. PTC's work enables PTC and Microsoft's mutual customers to achieve more, shows dedication to customer success, and stands out as a model to other US Partners.

Finalist: Automotive & Manufacturing Partner of the Year Awards

The Automotive Partner of the Year Award recognizes a partner organization that excels at providing innovative and unique services or solutions based on Microsoft technologies to automotive customers, demonstrating thought leadership in their industry.

Similarly, the Manufacturing Partner of the Year Award recognizes a partner organization that excels at providing innovative and unique services or solutions based on Microsoft technologies to manufacturing customers—which include industrial equipment, aerospace, farm equipment, high tech and electronics, chemicals, and agriculture organizations—demonstrating thought leadership in their industry.
