Axeda to ThingWorx Transition Workshop Create a detailed plan, with recommended steps to move from Axeda to ThingWorx while maintaining key functionality from Axeda, and looking towards the future of how you can take advantage of the ThingWorx Platform.

In this service, an Axeda and ThingWorx Architect will assess your current Axeda implementation and help you create a plan and roadmap to take advantage of the ThingWorx Platform. This workshop will provide you with all of the keys needed to understand how your unique transition can take form.

How It Works

This Success Service is a 3 day onsite engagement and includes the following activities:
Demonstration of current functionality

Day 1:

  1. You and a PTC expert will review and discuss current use cases.
  2. You and a PTC expert will review and discuss current Agent functions.
  3. You and a PTC expert will review and discuss Platform Capabilities.

Day 2:

  1. A ThingWorx expert will host a migration planning session.
  2. Work with PTC experts to create targeted use cases.
  3. Work with PTC experts to define customer device requirements.
  4. PTC experts will present agent and device options (single, dual).
  5. A ThingWorx expert will help you finalize your migration plan.
  6. PTC experts will close the discussion and explain next steps to you and your team.

Day 3:

  1. PTC documents and share the findings of the workshop.

Prerequisites

The following criteria must be met before this service can be consumed:

  1. You must attend the following training classes on IoT University:
    • Unpacking the Internet of Things
    • A Simple Framework for Designing IoT Products
    • New Business Markets in the Internet of Things
    • Fundamental of IoT Development with ThingWorx
