Description

  • On a Windows 7 (64 bit) with Office 2007 (32 bit) the Desktop integration (DTI) (91.6, 64 bit) generates a server error when uploading and downloading documents in Word/PowerPoint/Excel.
  • The documents are uploaded or downloaded, but the attributes are not updated and check in/out is not possible.
  • Error messages:
Error 0x80080005. Server Execution Failed. Error uploading file - Missing CachedContentDescriptor. (Uploading document using DTI)
Message from webpage. ATTENTION: An error occured while uploading the file. Please contact your administrator. Error: [objectError] (Uploading document using HTML interface)

  • Additionally, the Right-click action to Insert Windchill Attribute Field in the DTI shows the error:
