Description
- Cannot get Active Directory users to authenticate correctly in ThingWorx Platform
- LDAP users cannot authenticate in ThingWorx Platform
- Configured a Directory Services entity and users cannot authenticate in ThingWorx
- Executing Verify under Test Connection on the Configuration tab of a Directory Services entity is failing with the following:
- Unable to Connect
- java.lang.NullPointerException: userName was null is present in the SecurityLog
- SecurityLog.log within <ThingworxStorage>\logs shows the following lines when attempting to login as a Directory Services/LDAP user:
