Description

  • Cannot login to Windchill due to Tomcat errors
  • ERROR [pool-8-thread-1] org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.[Catalina].[localhost].[/<notWebAppName>] - Exception sending context initialized event to listener instance of class wt.servlet.ContextMonitor
    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: null source
    Nested exception is: wt.wrmf.delivery.WTDeliveryException: wt.wrmf.transport.WTTransportException: java.net.UnknownHostException: <notFQDN>
    Nested exception is: java.net.UnknownHostException: <notFQDN>
  • Where <notWebAppName> is something other than <wt.webapp.name> from <Windchill>\codebase\wt.properties
  • Where <notFQDN> is an incorrect fully qualified domain name
