Publishing fails with error 'PE server responded with code '500' when publishing large jobs from PTC Arbortext Publishing Engine

Description

  • Printing large documents that contain graphics to PDF via Arbortext Publishing Engine (PE) server responds with "Request terminated by hung subprocess detector"
  • Following Errors can occur:
Request terminated by hung process detector. Your request was assigned to process '####' in the 'pool-default'.
The subprocess failed to respond before 1800 seconds had elapsed as specified by the 'maxBusyInterval' parameter
of the subprocess pool. If you are satisfied that the operation was proceeding normally, you could reconfigure
your server by increasing your timeout interval.
ERROR:
          PE server responded with code '500' ('').
FATAL ERROR:
          Operation terminated.
