Adobe Experience Manager fails to publish Office documents with error "ALC-PDG-001-000-PDFMaker launch/openDoc failed"

Description

  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) fails to publish Office documents with error ALC-PDG-001-000-The system cannot find the file specified s
  • It fails to generate PDF for Excel files, but is successful for Word files.
  • Create PDF using the AEM Admin UI fails and below error is reported in server.log
