Description

  • Unable to update existing Windows 10 version to later version when  WFS driver is installed and loaded
  • After the Windows 10 update fails, functional issues like retrieval or save failure occur while working with Windchill Workgroup Manager
  • Windows 10 crashed with blue screen 
  • Unable to switch workspaces in the workgroup manager sometimes when Solidworks is running
  • Workgroup Manager crashes or hangs and needs to be closed via the Windows taskmanager
  • Unable to save or open a file from workgroup manager and it fails with the error :
      XXXX.SLDPRT does not exist
  • Workgroup manager cannot write to Windchill workspace folder:
"Error occurred while attempting to save files to the workspace"
  • Attempting to upgrade a workstation from Win10 1703 to Win10 1809 with the WGM installed causes the upgrade to fail
  • The upgrade fails on C:\Windows\system32\drivers\PtcVFsd.sys.
