Modified: 10-Apr-2025
Applies To
- Creo View 7.1 to 11.1
Description
- When doing print to pdf, the resulting output is in a low quality with unsearchable text if native pdf viewer option is used / enabled
- Printing to document to PDF from Creo View results in increased size as compared to the file output from Creo View 6.1
- Unable to save Office Documents as PDFs with searchable text from Creo View when using the native viewer.
- The current method to save PDFs is to use the Print function and select 'Adobe PDF' or 'Microsoft Print to PDF'.
- When using these methods in the native viewer, the resulting output is 'scanned' with the text unsearchable.
- This is not the case when using the Adobe integration, that is native pdf viewer is unchecked / disabled.
