  • Microsoft SQL Server

Description

  • The HTTP Requests Comparison chart in the "ThingWorx Platform 8.x Sizing Guide" does not seem correct:
User-added image
  • For a small ThingWorx 8 implementation, can only 1 request be handled per second (Microsoft SQL Server) or 148 requests per second (PostgreSQL) compared to an extra small implementation under ThingWorx 7, which could handle 400?
  • If SQL Server is to be used with any amount of users, the table indicates that a large ThingWorx implementation would be needed to handle the HTTP Requests
  • Comparing the ThingWorx 7 and 8 HTTP Requests table, it seems like the performance got worse between 7 and 8
